Food selection was beyond what I could ask for. Both my wife and I got combination platters which gave a full tasting of their menu and MY GOD was it one of the best tastings I've had. Service was beyond phenomenal. Very fun, and helpful.

A small intimate Indian restaurant with a few indoor and 1 outdoor table. Food was good though the restaurant needs to add more server since service was very slow with only 1 server for full restaurant during peak brunch time. We waited almost half an hour for tea in the beginning and there were times where we grabbed our own menu so we can save some time. Overall, we know the server try his best though it did dent the experience.

Had dinner here. Service was very good. Tried the Chicken Morongo , which I've never tried anywhere. It was absolutely delicious. Right amount of spices and sweetness. The service was very good and the restaurant not very busy for a weekday.

The samosas and the butter chicken were really good!! Enjoyed how professional they are and how accommodating. The garlic naan was delicious and moist. Will say the biryani has a few extra herbs and/or dates that I was unfamiliar with. I've had biryani before, but this one was not spicy. Overall, I recommend

A good Indian spot! The food was really comforting, not the best tikka masala i've ever had, but still hit the spot. The place is quaint but it has clean bathrooms and they were easily able to seat our large 9 person party which was nice. Extensive vegetarian options! Our waiter was very attentive, almost too attentive and trying to pressure us to order more food, but that's understandable when you have a large party and people were sharing dishes. The portions were huge and I had space for leftovers! Would try a new dish next time.

We had a very delicious meal at Alachi Masala. The chutneys offered at the beginning of the meal were very fresh, and the water was infused with mint. We ordered samosas and a cauliflower appetiser, both very good. The lamb pasanda came with very fluffy rice, and the garlic naan we ordered was especially good. This is a small restaurant-- maybe 24 seats. It is decorated in a colorful manner. It also does a brisk delivery business with the various apps.

I ordered from here with my parents and my cousin. I ordered the chicken tikka masala with rice and papadam. I ordered it in mild though the next time I order from here I know that I could handle the spice. The rice was cooked nicely and blended well with the chicken and the sauce. The crunch on the papadam was perfect too. Chicken tikka masala is one of my favorite dishes, and I don't get to eat it too often so when I order it I have high hopes for it. I was very happy with my dish, and I would love to try some other things that they have on the menu as well. They also have the salted lassy, which I can't really find anywhere else these days which is disappointing. The lassy was amazing I just wish they put it in a better container.

Service 3 stars by waiter (World Cup distracted = ok) +1 stars older gentleman that made sure all was fine and water filled. Food 4 stars for mine (veggie) 3 stars for lamb 3-4 stars for chicken The VEGETARIAN sampler. This may be a dine in only item. I can't remember the name. It was amazing. If you can't decide between daal and paneer and cauliflower, this is what you want. LOTS OF FOOD. probably could have fed two people. But I'll run another lap tomorrow. ROGAN JOSH good. It was average. My son eats it a lot. This version was not better or worse than most, but SHOULD BE SPICIER. To be fair , he didn't specify spicy level... But wasn't asked (maybe -1 more star service) CHICKEN SAAG My wife loves sag and chicken separately. The two together was really good. Maybe the sag was better than the chicken. But good combo. Inside/ambiance 3-4 stars It's simple. I'm a fan of that. The chairs are from the 90s. Not uncomfortable, but butt. Nice music. Not too loud. There were only three tables occupied the night I went. It is a small space, but not as tight as some. And there is plenty of room while sitting at the table. *not wheelchair friendly, but there's curbside seating. The tent was open and empty tonight. No heaters visible. Clean bathroom. I'm not a fan of the soap there. The artificial fragrance is overpowering. Parking Plenty of street parking if you know how to look. UWS can sometimes be a pain to park.
